dilaksanakan di ZEPP DIVER CITY TOKYO. Konser ini akan disiarkan secara
langsung oleh Live Viewing Japan di bioskop di Jepang dan beberapa
negara .

Bagi perantau di Jepang yang rindu kampung halaman, dapat merasakan
suasana Indonesia melalui Japanese Indonesia Friendship Festival (JIFF)
yang akan diadakan di Yoyogi Park, Shibuya, Tokyo pada 13 dan 14 Juli
mendatang
Kegiatan ini dimulai sejak 2008 silam,
bersamaan dengan hubungan Indonesia dan Jepang memasuki tahun ke-50.
JIFF diprakarsai oleh perusahaan Jepang C.P.I Japan dan tahun ini
merupakan penyelenggaraan
kelima. Berbagai produk khas Indonesia berupa kerajinan tangan, asesoris
dan barang lainnya ditampilkan dalam festival ini. Selain itu tersedia
informasi mengenai daerah tujuan wisata ke berbagai daerah di Indonesia.
Festival ini jug menawarkan berbagai masakan khas Indonesia. Bagi yang
rindu dengan makanan pedas, yang cukup jarang dijumpai di Jepang juga
tersedia.
Di tahun ini, JIFF akan diramaikan dengan sejumlah
booth perusahaan Indonesia, salah satunya adalah perusahaan penerbangan
Garuda Indonesia, perusahaan Jepang, LSM maupun lembaga non profit, yang
akan mempromosikan perusahaannya masing-masing. Untuk acara panggung,
rencananya ada pertunjukan kesenian tradisional di antaranya tarian
Bali, pertunjukan musik gamelan dan angklung, juga demonstrasi beladiri
pencaksilat. Sementara dari sisi Jepang, ditampilkan pertunjukan
kesenian tradisional. Festival yang berlangsung dua hari ini, pada 2011
silam dikunjungi sekitar 90.000 warga Indonesia maupun Jepang. Sementara
tahun lalu, jumlahnya bertambah menjadi 100.000 orang. Tahun ini
ditargetkan dapat menarik 150.000 pengunjung.
Ikimonogakari akan merilis album terbaru mereka, "I", pada tanggal 24 Juli.
Album ke-6 mereka ini akan berisi 14 lagu, termasuk lagu-lagu dari
single "Haru Uta", "Kaze ga Fuiteiru", "1 2 3 ~Koi ga Hajimaru~", dan
"Egao". Album ini akan dirilis dalam 2 versi, yaitu Limited [CD+DVD] dan
Regular [CD].
Judul "I" pada album ini mewakilkan banyak arti,
seperti "I" (saya) sebagai penulis album, "I" (saya) sebagai pendengar
album, "I" dari kata Ikimonogakari, "I" dibaca Ai (cinta), "I" dibaca Ai
(kesedihan), dan sebagainya. Para member juga menampilkan foto terbaru
di mana mereka berbaris membentuk huruf "I".

Belakangan, perusahaan Toei Animation berencana menayangkan salah satu episode spesial dari anime One Piece yang diberi judul One Piece Episode of Merry: Mou Hitori no Nakama no Monogatari. Tayangan ini akan dijadikan salah satu suguhan anime televisi spesial.

(17 Juni 2013), One Piece Episode of Merry: Mou Hitori no Nakama no
Monogatari akan ditayangkan pada Sabtu, 24 Agustus 2013 pukul 9 malam
waktu Jepang. Jadwal tersebut tidak sesuai waktu biasanya yang
ditayangkan pada Minggu pagi.
ONE OK ROCK will be providing the theme song for the upcoming CG animated film "Captain Harlock".
A new song is not being made for the movie. Instead, "Be the light", a track off of the band's recently-released album "Jinsei x Boku=", will be used as the theme song.
"This is a song for all the sad events happening all over the world caused by humans. It expresses the feelings of a single person being part of something bigger," the band stated.
The upcoming film will be based on the 70s manga and anime series, reconstructed to fit themes more suitable for modern society. The main character, Captain Harlock, will fight for humanity aboard the invincible space battleship Arcadia.
Shun Oguri and Haruma Miura have been cast in the film as Captain Harlock and Yama, respectively. Shinji Aramaki, director of "Appleseed", directed the film.
The studio behind the revival of "Captain Harlock" is Toei Animation. The studio first announced the project in March of 2010. The film is the most expensive project the studio has produced, costing over $30 million USD.
"Captain Harlock" is set to be released in Japan on September 7th. An English dub of the film is already in production, with a promotional video for it being screened at the Cannes Film Festival.
Rock unit VAMPS announced that they will be going on tour over the summer, starting at the end of June.
The upcoming tour will start on June 28th at Zepp DiverCity TOKYO in Tokyo. The tour will feature 24 performances in 5 cities. Each stop on the tour will have multiple dates for fans to see the band perform.
The tour, "VAMPS LIVE 2013", will be the first time the band has gone on tour since transferring to Universal Music's sub-label Delicious Deli Records in February. They have also received a tie-up with Live Nation in preparation for a world tour.
VAMPS is a rock unit consisting of L'Arc~en~Ciel's vocalist HYDE and guitarist KAZ, who has been part of several projects since the 90s. Although they have not released new music since 2010, the band remains active through live performances and tours.
It has been announced that VAMPS will be releasing their first double A-side single in two and a half years "AHEAD/REPLAY" on July 3rd, 2013 and starring in their first advertisement for the single.
"AHEAD" will be the song for SONY's new smart phone "Xperia UL ", and is up on Youtube and will be posted below. The advertisement features HYDEand what seems to be KAZ [or another male student] as model pupils. Meanwhile sitting in front of them is a female student who clicks on the VAMPS app on her smartphone and suddenly a book opens in the library which illustrates VAMPS, and then unfolds as VAMPS performing live. HYDE explained that he wore his own glasses for the role, saying "I'm starring in the advert too, so please enjoy it as a set together with the new single".
The double A-side "REPLAY" will be used as the theme tune for the popular smartphone app series "DARK".
VAMPS will debut on MTV VMAJ on the 22nd of June at the Makhari Messe, followed by a nationwide tour kicking off on the 28th June at DiverCity TOKYO, and already have another "Beast on the Beach" scheduled for August.
